Exceptional food and service. The Angus burger, topped with local cheese and bacon, was incredibly delicious.

Good ambience. Very nice food but the shows topper was dessert. Very good food for good price.

Very good breakfast! Atmosphere is cozy and bright. The staff is kind and proper. The breakfast flower waffle was delicious and light! Though the menu may be small, it covers all the bases and the portions are nice. It's a very quiant location, with entrances in the front and back if the building.

Put in your name and wander around the old town. May need an hour but worth the wait!

I had breakfast here the other day and it was so delicious!! Not only was the food great but the service was also amazing! Our waitress was so lovely! I would highly recommend Cochon Dingue if someone visiting to Old Quebec City.

Offering both French and English menus this spot is a one to visit while in Quebec City. Had the pot en pot dish. The seafood was delicious and was served with a crispy and flaky pastry which paired well with the dish!

The food quality is always high and consistent. We were there on a Monday and missed the amazing breakfast menu. However the choices for lunch were pretty nice too.

Very good. My second Poutin in Quebec. Delicious! Service was wonderful as was the atmosphere.

A hearty spare ribs at $25 something was great choice for sharing. Desert was good too.

Food was generally good but the service was lacking. It was slow. Granted, the restaurant was busy. Although when the busyness died down, it remained slow.Additionally, the food was room temperature, not warm or hot.My friends however, received warm / hot food.I had the eggs benny with bacon and cheese curds. It would have tasted great hot, but cold, it was very lacklustre.

I tried the waitress's recommendation which is rib(the most famous food in the restaurant) and also pot pie.The sauce is very delicious and pot pie is very good as well. But the salad on the pot pie does not seem fresh and I think because it is due to the mixing procedure which had too much pressure on the salad itself.Overall, the quality was great and also the servers were very kind

I think this restaurant's people give more smile to guest. Taste is not a big surprise to me. And they also ask me to change reservation time. I accepted it but it is my first time to request reservation time change. I mean why I make a reservation previously , that mean that time is my best choice time.

Delicious food. Excellent service. Reasonable prices. You can’t go wrong with this combination. The kids meal is deliciously tasty. We enjoyed our time. Our server was fantastic.

Had lunch yesterday with a friend. We ordered Lac Saint-Jean Omelette & Charlevoix Plate. Food was very good but the service needs some work. Our server took our order and never returned to see how we were doing. After our meals were finished, we had to ask for refills of water and coffee. More attention to the patrons would be appreciated and would generate more business. I would not recommend this place because of the service unfortunately.

This place was recommended by a friend who had visited a few weeks before I did and I have to say, it was an absolute gem! I was able to book a table seamlessly on the web. While my reservation was for a later time and I arrived earlier, they host was wonderful enough to seat me as soon as I got there. The server was friendly and warm. Her recommendation of Country Duo on their menu was the perfect choice for a food enthusiast as me. I loved the perfect balance of sweet with savoury, portion sizes perfect for each individual. Highlight of my meal; each entree comes with a hot beverage! A "sweet" deal indeed!

Quick and good service. Nice food: eggs benedict, salmon omelette, latte, crepes! (Like my grandma do them)

Nice breakfast/brunch with children while touring the historic district. Food was good. Ambience was fun.

Ate breakfast here twice during our visit to QC. Large variety of choices, both my entrees were excellent, as were my wife’s. My favorite was the breakfast poutine, which was a generous portion of potatoes, onions, peppers, cheese curds, sauce, meat and egg. May not be available every day, but ask for the house made cranberry bread with house made jelly - both so so tasty. Service was great, kept my American coffee full during both visits. Highly recommend for breakfast!

I have received multiple recommendations to visit this place while I am in Quebec City. The atmosphere is great, while it is quite crowded from time to time. The food portion was great with reasonable prices, but the food was not as tasty as expected. I think the back ribs are the most famous menu, you can find similar or better in most places back in the States. But if you are craving for ribs, and some nice beer in a cool atmosphere, it is a go-to place in Quebec City.

This place was awesome! I loved everything I ordered and I find that quite rare! Great atmosphere, quite good service and fantastic food. Couldn’t recommend this place more!

Came for brunch and it was super busy. But the service was great. Our coffee was always refilled. Quality was better than your average brunch place. Unique maple syrup--not over poweringly sweet and light and creamy. Potatoes were perfect--crispy and brown; fluffy on the inside. Fruits were fresh--the crepe was amazing too!I saw a review that said that this place was a tourist trap--I beg to differ.

Great place to have brunch, really nice location! Food was yummy and I love the fact that specialty coffee (in my case a latte) was included with the food! Generous portions and the service was outstanding!

Their signature pork ribs are extremely delicious. So are the potato peels. Spaghettis were also good - fresh and meaty vegetables with light but tasteful sauce.

Cheap and great breakfast!! I was surprised how good it was! They have a vegan breakfast option as well

This had been recommended by our City Walking tour guide as a good option and the menu had some options we were interested in exploring. She had said there were several other restaurants on the next level down, but we decide to stay on Rue du Petit-Champlain where our tour ended. We went in off that street and we kept on going down - ended up on the lower level anything. Their main entrance is on the lower town level!

Really good restaurant in old Quebec. Food is really good and staff is friendly. Nice decor.

Outside seats were great (for atmosphere) but in my opinion, inside seats were little bit dirty.. I recommend to sit outside. Also staffs come really late even though I called.. (Food was good)

The food was really good!! Especially the seafood specialty pot!

Pretty good food and service. The online menu showed that breakfast was served until 2pm everyday but when we arrived at 11:20am we were told breakfast stops at 11:15am. Other than that a pretty good experience and a pretty good poutine.

Excellent breakfast and service with a smile!

Fit us in very quickly in a holiday rush. Great food all around. Brunch plate was a good sample of everything. Great atmosphere in a prime location with perfect service.

The meal was amazing! Ordered the set meal: Soup of the Day, Pork Chop and Creme Brûlée. The pork chop was the most juicy and tasty pork chop I’ve ever had. 11/10 would demolish the dish again.

The restaurant has a cute decoration with sailor theme and the big pig in front of the restaurant was so adorable. We order a crepe and egg benedict for breakfast. The egg was very nicely done and it perfectly matched with the sauce. The bagel was so yummy and chewy that you can only find in Quebec. The crepe was also good . A good choice to start the day.

A charming, cozy, and casual spot. There were several families with children dining there and it seemed like the kind of place where families could enjoy a good meal and still be comfortable.

This is by far the restaurant in Quebec that I always return to. The food is great, the service is lovely and they have ample seating. The update the menu often enough, so there’s always something new. I have never had a bad meal here. Portions are good size too. And the prices are reasonable. Worth a visit.

A must for anyone wanting some good seafood! The pot en pot is a seafood pot pie, and it had nice big chunks of meat. Same with the seafood Alfredo pasta. The kids both got salmon, and they gobbled it up. For dessert we got a slice of the chocolate cake, which was good but not necessarily the best I have had. The service was very friendly, and I can imagine that this is one of the best places to dine in Quebec. If I can offer a piece of advice, some ceiling fans or screens would help with the flies that seemed to like our food as much as we did. But all-in-all, we thoroughly enjoyed it!

Had a really nice breakfast here. Unlike many of the restaurants in Quebec, the service did not take forever, and was actually pleasantly fast by comparison. I got the Charlevoix plate and everything was very delicious. This is a great restaurant in a very touristy area. My only complaint is that it was uncomfortably warm inside the restaurant. During my visit Quebec City was experiencing a near record heat wave so I won't hold it against them or take stars off my review.
Maximo Cardoze
The food is great (I tried a version of poutine offered in the menu) the treatment also. Don't forget to ask for some good local beer. We tried it and and we were very impressed.

Very good. Steak was a little bland but cooked to order perfectly. They could have more sidedish options. But would definitely go back

Definitely recommended! The food was delicious and the staff was friendly! Ribs was one of my favorite meal here. Worth to wait
